While most of us are aware that we have something called a subconscious mind within us, there are very few of us who knows much more than that about it. You would not believe how enormous our subconscious is, I’m not talking how much space it takes, of course not. I’m just talking metaphorically. Our subconscious stores things or memories that not even our conscious knows. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we really get to know what our subconscious beholds? But that’s just impossible. It’s basically meant for us not to find out. Well, you must be thinking what possibly the job of our subconscious is?
Our subconscious is there to function us exactly like we should, or you can say exactly like we made ourselves. Our subconscious mind causes us to feel emotionally and physically uncomfortable whenever we attempt to do anything new or different or to change any of our established patterns of behavior.
Exploit your subconsciousness
An obvious way to exploit your subconscious is to make sure you’re always ready for it.
Carry a notepad around, and jot down any interesting thoughts that pop into your head.
If you’re with someone else, be willing to change the subject and talk about the cool new approach to solving your problem that you just thought of.
Get a voice recorder application, and start dictating thoughts to yourself.
At the very least, make sure that when you have some idea, you spend some time thinking about it immediately, instead of focusing on whatever you were doing before.
Once our subconscious mind sends something into our conscious mind and we fail to grab it, we no longer have the choice to know it again.
